It has now been a few days since I’ve made the decision to close Quilting B & More. We did not give our customers much forewarning about this decision and implemented it very quickly as our first priority was to protect you our customers, our staff and our families.
During this time of social distancing it’s very important to follow Health Canada and Health PEI’s recommendation to distance ourselves from one another; it’s also important to continue to do the things that bring us happiness and release stress, as well as continue to support our Island and Canadian economy.
I would like to update you on how I will be operating for the time being with the store front closure:
- As always we will be accepting mail orders.
- Starting next week I will be doing order deliveries within 20 km of the store. The cut off time to submit an order will be Wednesday evening to allow me time to prepare the orders on Thursday and delivery will be done on Friday. Orders will be paid for in advance of delivery via credit card and purchases will be left on customer’s doorsteps, to enable no social interaction with another person.
- I will continue to service machines. If you get a call to bring in your machine for servicing please do not feel obligated to do so. If you choose not to, you will not lose your place in line.
- Gift certificates are also available for purchase. A great gift for Birthday's, Easter, Mother's day or for yourself once we open up again. This is a great way to show support to small business in a difficult time.
For all of the above mentioned practices I will ensure strict cleanliness and keep a distance of 2 meters at all times. Orders can be emailed to info@quiltingb.ca or submitted via our Facebook page.
