Class Registration
To reserve your spot in a class the class fee must be paid in full. If insufficient registrations cause us to cancel the class, your class fee will be refunded. Class cancellations will not be accepted within a week of the start date of the class. Class fees are non-refundable once class has begun.
Policy is subject to change, to follow provincial and/or national policy.
Class Policy
Classroom:
- There are 8 desks in the classroom, 2 ironing boards and 4 irons for use by the students. Each desk has a small red can for disposing of waste. There is one large garbage can available in the classroom. There is also one large compost can in the classroom. Fabric and thread that have dyes in them must be disposed of in waste. Things like 100% cotton batting and natural fibers without dye may be disposed of in compost.
-There are 2 large cutting tables with cutting mats supplied for classroom use.
- Students are responsible for all other material needed for class.
- Students are responsible to clear their work stations of all their belongings at the end of each class to facilitate classroom cleaning by store staff. Store staff are not responsible for articles left in classroom by students.
- Wearing of masks are not mandatory in the store or classroom, however if you are not feeling well, we ask out of consideration for other students, teacher and staff, we ask that you stay home until you feel better and we will reschedule your class time at a future date.
Other:
No food will be allowed in the classroom. Everyone will need to leave the classroom at lunchtime.
- Drinks in a sealed reusable container will be the only liquids allowed in class. Disposable cups will not be allowed: ie: Tim Hortons cup with cover.
Door from classroom to store front is to remain closed when class is in session.
